This blog is dedicated to my mother, Liz Taylor’s, columns that she titled “Meanwhile Back at the Ranch.” They were published in the Mouse River Farmers Press (later to become the Mouse River Journal) in Towner, N.D. Her first column was published Jan. 9, 1980, and her last in October of 2008 when she was diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer. She passed from this earth on Jan. 17, 2009, but her spirit is most definitely still with us, and her writings will be too. I’ll type and post these as I can, my morning coffee with Mom. She was a talented artist as well and you can see three of her paintings that are available for sale as prints at my website http://www.mycowboylogic.com . Hope you enjoy her stories from the ranch.
